From Caregiver to Health Advocate

Discover how personal experience and professional expertise come together to guide women on their path to renewed health.

My Why...

My journey into health and wellness started early, influenced by the health struggles I observed within my own family. Seeing the challenges they faced with blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, mood, and ongoing medications, I became determined to chart a different course for my life. This drive led me to pursue a career in fitness and nutrition, owning a wellness center and women’s fitness studio where I could help others find balance and vitality. I furthered my expertise by studying Kinesiology, Integrative Nutrition, and Functional Medicine, laying a strong foundation for my approach to health and wellness.

After my Grandpa’s passing, following the extensive period I spent as his caregiver, I was faced with the task of rebuilding my own health and sense of balance. While his loss was profoundly painful, it also provided a much-needed opportunity to focus on my own well-being, something that had been on hold during his illness. I felt a mix of grief and a strong desire to regain my strength, but found the path to recovery challenging amidst the significant changes in my life. Despite these hurdles, I gradually rediscovered my resilience and purpose. Now I use my experiences and knowledge in functional medicine and integrative nutrition to fuel my commitment to helping other women find their way back to health after caregiving.
